All overnight retreat bookings include full, home-cooked meals prepared fresh daily. A standard 2-day/1-night retreat includes AM Snack, Lunch, PM Snack, Dinner, and next-day Breakfast and Lunch. For custom check-in or early arrival times, meal servings are calibrated to your group's schedule. Purified hot and cold drinking water and brewed coffee stations are available 24/7.
Dormitory beds are equipped with clean mattresses, fresh bed sheets, pillows, and blankets. Participants should bring their own bath towel, personal hygiene toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush), modest and respectful clothing suitable for Tagaytay's cool climate, a personal Bible, notebook, pens, and personal maintenance medications.
Yes! Saint Joseph Marello Retreat House is managed by the Oblates of Saint Joseph (OSJ). You can tick the Liturgical Services request during inquiry submission. Resident priests are available for Holy Masses, Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confessions), and Eucharistic Adoration upon schedule confirmation. If you bring your own visiting priest, the Chapel of the Risen Christ, altar vessels, and liturgical vestments are freely available for your use.
The retreat house comfortably accommodates up to 84 retreatants in separate male and female dormitory wings equipped with multiple private shower stalls and restrooms. We also have ground-floor accommodations accessible for elderly participants, clergy, and guest retreat speakers.
To preserve a prayerful atmosphere, grand silence is observed starting at 10:00 PM. Main gates close at 10:00 PM. Smoking, vaping, and alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited throughout the entire property. We encourage guests to maintain the sacredness of our chapel and landscaped meditation grounds.
Submitting an inquiry through this website holds a temporary reservation on our calendar. Our coordinator will contact you to confirm final headcounts and special requests. An initial 30% reservation deposit secures your dates, with the balance payable upon arrival. You can generate an official printable proposal immediately or track your status online using your reference number.
